Prologue:
This is Q #2 of my unofficial 2021 Q Challenge. I’m shooting for at least 21 Qs at 21 unique AOs.
The weather report didn’t look too comfortable for this morning. Rain, possibly snow in the early AM. I’ve posted and Q’d in the rain, but the limited-run Duck crowd usually prefers the North Hills parking deck on mornings like this. I’m personally hesitant to call a weather audible on Twitter or texting just in case someone doesn’t get the memo, so I went to the planned start and found No Sugar ready to go. I checked the Lame Duck text group and Yukon said he was already in the deck, so we headed over. We searched for a few minutes, but couldn’t find Yukon. Since we were already running late we went ahead and started, hoping Yukon would find us.

Warm Up:
Side Straddle Hops x20 In Cadence (IC)
Good Mornings x10 IC
Imperial Walkers x10 IC
Monkey Humpers x10 IC
Standard Merkins x10 On My Down (OMD)

Downward Dog calf stretches

Main Event:
Sevens (7s): start with one WW1, six Burpees (Yukon found us right in the middle).
Bat Wings
No Sugar and Yukon brought kettlebells, so set up three stations for what No Sugar dubbed “Devil’s Triangle”. One PAX starts at each station. First station is no KB. PAX here does twenty reps of an exercise, then moves to next station, forcing everyone to advance. Other two stations are As Many Reps As Possible (AMRAP) while waiting to rotate. Perform 2 full rotations through each exercise set (Station 1, Station 2, Station 3):
Merkins x20, KB Goblet Squats AMRAP, KB Overhead Press AMRAP
Imperial Squat Walkers x20 IC, KB Squat to High Pull AMRAP, KB Bent Over Rows AMRAP
Monkey Humpers x20, KB Alternating Swings AMRAP, KB Triceps Extensions AMRAP
Side Straddle Hops x20 IC, KB Curls AMRAP, KB Chest Press AMRAP
Mosey back to start for Mary.

Hello Dolly x20 IC
Homer to Marge x20 IC
Flutter Kicks x20 IC
Freddie Mercury x20 IC
Dying Cockroach x20 IC
Have a Nice Day

COT:
3 PAX (RECORD FOR THE YEAR!!!)
Snowbird has created a tracking website to support the 2021 posting challenge. It is great for tracking, no matter how many posts you are going for. Reach out to get set up.
Our 1st F Q, Science and Math, is encouraging PAX to focus on bringing out a couple of FNGs each this year.
Prayers for Yukon’s new grandson, No Sugar’s son’s work prospects.
No Sugar took us out.

Naked Moleskin:
The Lame Duck regulars have a regular Parking Deck meeting spot, in case you were wondering where Yukon was waiting.
To me, the JC Penney parking deck means the old parking deck that is going to be demolished in the next couple of years. Many childhood memories of parking there on trips to the mall, including one memory of my younger brother’s car seat being stolen out of our station wagon in the early 80s. We should’ve locked the doors, but at least we didn’t leave the engine running like No Sugar’s old coworker did back in the day. What a criminal hotspot!
Thanks guys for being open to running a little longer to make up for the late start!
This was my second #F3Q21 #2021Challenge Q. Next stop is Dawn Patrol on 1/14.
