Workout Date: 05/05/21
In my quest to Q everything, I was unsure how to Q Ethanol, a weekly running site with a rotating set of preplanned routes. I reached out to Site Q High Life and he recommended:
1) I come up with a new route for the group ahead of time and
2) at the workout I manage getting all the runners off on the right course.
Mission Accepted. I looked at the existing routes and noticed nothing touched Galax, a steep hill with a steep reputation. After a few submissions and edits to get the route as close to 6 miles as I could, we were set to go.
Warm Up:
No warmup, this is Ethanol! OK, PAX really just did their own warm ups as we waited for other PAX to arrive.
Main Event

I was delighted to see most PAX hung around for all of us to come in, so I led a proper COT to be truly official.

YHC took us out.
Naked Moleskin:
It was fun! I was one of the slowest out there, but I think the PAX liked the change of pace. (No pun intended, but I AM a father of two kids)
YHC was so focused on Galax, I forgot about the 1-2 punch of following it with Laurel Hills
The route/segment was just shy of 6, so a few PAX ran a little extra and thus missed the segment leaderboard on Strava
T-claps to High Life for the opportunity to step in. I hope the segment gets more use in the future!

Walter White and Mario had to leave early (or on time), but I appreciate them coming out.
We managed to pick up Sewer Rat who was out running on his own in Laurel Hills.
