Jog to the “pile” so each man could grab a railroad tie.

The Thang

Every man had a piece steel and we formed a circle. PAX completed one minute of each of the weight exercises listed below. After each one minute set, PAX would travel the length of the parking lot (without the weight), traveling via the method indicated below:

  1. Overhead press – sprint down and backwards run back
  2. Curls – bear crawl down and run back
  3. Squats – crab walk down and run back
  4. Tricep extensions – bunny hop down and run back
  5. Hold weight overhead – jog down and back while holding weight overhead
  6. Bent over rows – traveling burpee down and run back

PAX then lined up for a long, parking lot suicide. We sprinted to each median and back, concluding with a sprint all the way to the end of the lot and back. The sprint turned into more of a jog for YHC.


LBC x 30 (YHC) – there was a lot of giggling while doing this movement in the wet parking lot, apparently due to the noises created when one’s back pushes air against the wet parking lot, and a wet air pocket is formed. So I’m told, the noise resembles…I’m gonna stop here. This brought me right back to 8th grade…loved it.
