It’s been almost two year since I was last at The Trudge. When I walked up to start, Yogi was giving the group a history lesson on the AO. From that moment (well, really from when I saw Yogi’s van) I knew the mumble chatter would be something today and I’d need to push through.
WARMUP:
SSH x20 IC, IW x20 IC, Fazio F x10 IC, Fazio R x10 IC, Merkins x10 OMD, Downward Dog, Calf isolations, runners stretch, Mountain Climbers x10 IC
THE THANG:
-Run Jacks at the gas tank loop
Partner up for fellowship and accountability. Both partners run the loop, then do 1 merkin, 3 LBCs, 1 merkin. Repeat loop and increment reps to 2-6-2. Repeat until the pair reaches 10-30-10. Yogi was determined to finish and we all did an extra loop to support him and No Time.
-Rock work at the rock pile closest to Lake Wheeler Road
Grab a rock. 10-15-10 rep pyramid. Circuit: Curls, Triceps Extensions, Overhead Presses, Bent Over Rows, Complexes. Rotate left one rock between 10 and 15. Then rotate three rocks right between 15 and 10.
-Sevens back in the HT parking lot
Star Jumps and Carolina Dry Docks. Bear Crawl out, Lunge Walk back.

COT:
I started things off talking about Uncommon Bonds and making intentional efforts to open up to others in COT. Fruit Of shared his sentiments and invited us all to the Islamic Association of Raleigh’s Open House on March 5th. Yogi shared how important F3 prayers and support have been for him.
Prayers for those going to prison, struggling with cancer, and for those supporting them. Prayers unspoken.
Yogi took us out.
NAKED MOLESKINE:
Like I said, I haven’t been to the Trudge in a couple of years. I checked my old backblast last night to refresh my memory. Back then we dealt with smelly trash truck and had one FNG. Whatever happened to One Man Band?
In regards to bringing back (starting?) openness and vulnerability to COT, I’ll share that I overthink a lot of things. One of those things is how much COT to include in a backblast that’s shared on the internet. Hopefully it’s vague enough to protect the privacy of the group yet informative enough for those brothers who missed out.
