An impressive 18 #HIM strong out in the cold this morning. Special welcome to Tron visiting us from Louisville. Final Disney pre-HSHM so we focused on upper body and core.
YHC apologizes in advance for any confusion of count/cadence as well as pushing a little too fast on Indian Run. Assume apology disclaimer in place until I become a seasoned Q.
W/U: jog trail around fields, circle up for sets of 13 in honor of upcoming HSHM with goofballs, windmills, fazio arm circles and a shoulder/arms/chest stretch
On the jog to corner for a burnout set of moroccan night clubs on a 43 count to honor YHC 43rd birthday
On the jog to midfield for 2 sets of happy jacks (IC to 5 then 2 squat jumps, repeat)
bear crawl to next fence corner
Fence: lined up tight, PAX did exercise called out by YHC. Man on end takes 3 steps forward for 3 burpees, jogs to front of line along fence for 3 more burpees and rejoins PAX. Keep moving down fence line AMRAP. On the fence alternate exercise as each man shifts – each set of 3 exercises starts with BTTW and preacher chair with the 3rd changing roughly as follows – plank regular, merkins, chill cut, people’s air press – wash, rinse, repeat.
Recover on the jog across field, Indian Run 1 lap and back to shelter.
Quick sets of alternating dips/merkins on the 10×3 with thanks to the PAX for picking up the count
MARY
LBCs for bookends and good measure
ATMs – stay in plank hold and do shoulder taps IC to 15, tempo merkins IC to 10, and fast merkins 10 count
Countoff was 18 strong

Announcements – Need someone to step up and volunteer for to help with parking Saturday morning starting 4am – please contact Pikachu if interested. HSHM plans are set including 6:30 plant shovel flags and w/u to be led by M4L, Last chance to support Bernie for PR fundraiser and Turkey Drive – both were a huge success. Sleeveless Fri 0500 and a special birthday Q at Cletus tomorrow. M4L hosting some of our brothers from Healing Transitions for dinner Fri and he bravely invited all to stop in and join them.
Prayer Request – Crab Legs and family, all HSHM runners and volunteers – always be mindful of the many unspoken prayers as well
COT – YHC took us out with a reminder about the strength of commitment. Last week we talked about how accountability leads us to make choices based on character not on carving. This week we talked about how through our commitments as we grow to be better and stronger men, we actually begin craving things that align with strong character. Closing prayer to include all spoken and unspoken prayer requests.
