4 Pax posted slightly early on a cloudy day to get after it. This workout was inspired by Herschel Walker (my celebrity doppelganger I’ve been told); who routinely did push-ups, sit-ups, and sprinted up a hill in his parents’ yard everyday to become an nfl legend. Figured we’d do the same out at NCMA

Warm up with SSH, IW, and Good Mornings

Run down the asphalt trail to a somewhat flat area and break into pairs. Partner 1 runs to an assigned spot about halfway up the hill and back while partner 2 does the prescribed exercise. Switch exercises upon your partner’s return, keep running/switching until the group has finished the required amount of each exercise.
200 merkins
200 LBCs

Regroup and run to the bottom of the hill near the 440 bridge and regroup on the wooden planked bridge for what was probably the worst part of the morning. Same format:
200 knuckle merkins
200 WWII sit-ups

Run over the 440 bridge and take a left down that very steep hill; stopping about halfway for another round of:
200 diamond merkins
200 Freddy Mercurys

Mosey back home breaking it up with some merkins along the way. COT

NMM:
Really enjoyed this morning with the 4 of us out there. Every new set of exercises required everyone being assigned a new partner. We all worked together and all finished at approximately the same time. Was impressed with the amount of merkins Old Maid could knock out quickly. Glad that I had Fava Bean and Mr Furley to knock out the majority of the knuckles/diamonds as those were unfun. 4.25 – 4.5 miles to start everyone’s weekend. Quality of the pax was high while the quantity was low; hopefully that isn’t a theme going forward.
