YHC scoped out Detention after not being able to pull off the Beast in Flirtin’ With Disaster’s parking lot last week, and I had already determined the exercise would work well here. I showed up just in time to catch the prerun.

Side Straddle Hop x20 In Cadence (IC)
Good Morning x5 IC
Imperial Walker x20 IC
Sir Fazio Arm Circles forward x10 IC, reverse x10 IC
1) Mosey past the shelter to the greenway and hang a left to mosey to the park entrance for Number of the Beast: 6 stations, 6 rounds, 6 exercises, 6 reps per station. Merkins, American Hammers, Sumo Squats, Little Baby Cruches, regular Squats, and, unfortunately, Burpees.
2) Mosey back to start via the greenway. Partner up for 1/2 Dora in the parking lot. 50 Merkins, 100 LBCs, 150 Squats per pair. Grady had pulled on Irish Goodbye, so YHC was odd man out. I forgot to cut the 1/2 Dora in half for myself so I did 50 merkins and maybe 60 to 80 LBCs and Squats.
3) Five minutes to kill, so a quick set of Sevens: Hand Release Merkins and Carolina Dry Docks. Bear Walk out, Lunge Walk back.

YHC took us out.
The humidity was BAD. PAX were discussing how we should probably be taking water breaks.
I was very happy when the expected three mile run was just two miles.
I hated doing those burpees. I know I would’ve “modified” if I was working out on my own. Thank you all for the push.
This was my fifty-eighth #F3Q21 #2021Challenge Q (sixtieth overall). Next Q is tomorrow at Max Bandwidth. I’m totally considering bringing a case of water to share in the middle of the workout.
