A baker’s dozen got after it this morning in what I hope was an original for the Tahoe faithful.
Start it off with SSH x 20
Good Mornings x 10
Head to Carroll Middle School track and get into pairs of 2 (and a group of 3) for a 4×4.
Partner 1 runs a 400 while Partner 2 does the called exercises (in this case, 10 merkins and 10 flutters ad nauseum). Flapjack upon Partner 1’s return.
Mosey from there to Root Elementary with some intermittent merkins, diamonds, and freddy mercurys along the way.
Partner up and get ready for 4×4 part 2
Partner 1 runs a 400 (maybe 180m) while Partner 2 does the called exercises (in this case, burpees ad nauseum). Flapjack upon Partner 1’s return.
Stay with you partner and get ready for 4×4 part 3
Partner 1 runs a 400 (maybe 180m) backwards while Partner 2 does the called exercises (in this case, hand-release merkins ad nauseum). Flapjack upon Partner 1’s return.
Head back to home base running up Lassiter Mill stopping at every side street on the left for 10 sumo squat jumps. Stop at 440 bridge for some merkins.
Mary in the lot upon our return.
NMM:
Not sure how many miles we got in but the run from Carroll to Root was around 1.75 and we didn’t lose anyone, except for when Nature called Zima and he answered. Fast group today.
Evenly split teams for the 4x4s as pretty much all participants finished together. Lame.
Sorry for the delay, only announcement is that Pepe will hound you on social media if you delay in signing up for GoRuck.
