Prologue:
This is my sixteenth Q of the 2020 Q Challenge.
To claim my planned Q for Late Night was a “best laid plan” would be a bit of a stretch. After auditing Swirly’s Q last week, my basic plan was to follow his path to the rocks and back, with many more “pearls” on the “string” along the way. Heavy rains and flooding on Thursday meant a new workout would be necessary.
Warm Up:
Side Straddle Hops x20 In Cadence (IC)
Good Mornings x10 IC
Imperial Walkers x20 IC
Sir Fazio Arm Circles forward x10 IC
Sir Fazio Arm Circles reverse x10 IC
Monkey Humpers x10 IC
Standard Merkins x10 On My Down (OMD)
Mountain Climbers x10 IC
Downward Dog plus isolated Calf Stretches
Main Event:
Partner up for Dora 1-2-3s: 100 Merkins, 200 Little Baby Crunches (LBCs), 300 Squats. One partner exercises while the other runs along Oxford from the start to the Road Closed signs and back. When partner 2 returns, flapjack. Continue until team has performed all reps for all exercises. The order of exercises is up to the team.
Mosey up driveway to covered parking at Our Lady of Lourdes for wall work:
-Balls To The Wall (BTTW), hold for 10 counts by each PAX down the line
-People’s Chair, hold for 10 counts down the line
-Australian Mountain Climbers x15 IC
Mosey to Overbrook and down to Oxford for Jacob’s Ladder of Plank Jack Burpees (better known in Raleigh as Man Maker Burpees). Run up Overbrook to intersection with Kittrell, perform 1 Plank Jack Burpee, return to start. Repeato, incrementing to 2 Plank Jack Burpees. Keep repeating all the way up to 7 Plank Jack Burpees.
Mosey back to start for BLIMPS:
-(B)urpees x5 On Your Own (OYO)
-alternating (L)unges x10 IC
-(I)mperial walkers x15 IC

As I get into the home stretch of the Q Challenge, I know I’ve gotten better and hearing feedback that my Qs are getting tougher is a real thrill. I can’t recommend the challenge enough! I’m excited to see how we tweak it next year.
