9 ascended on Martin Middle for 4 x 1600 w/ 30 secs rest.

The goal was to run these at your 20 minute tempo pace, broken up so that it is a little easier mentally, and really not enough break to allow the heart rate to drop too much. 20 minute tempo pace should be about 80-90%; uncomfortable but something that can be sustained. It approximates one’s 10k pace, plus about 10 seconds or so per mile.
Today was a lot of time on the track; and everyone that posted is better for it. Denali and Enron are fresh off strong races, and I imagine there are others in the group that I’m unaware of. A few were out knowing that BRR is closer than you think. The rest, who knows, maybe they just want to get kicked in the teeth early this Tuesday.
Announcements:
-Ethanol is going strong out at Crabtree; be there on Wednesday mornings if you don’t want to let your BRR team down.
-Get Outside Mountain Relay is going to be June 2-3 and McGruber is potentially getting a team together for a BRR styled event started by an F3 bro.
-There were others I’m missing but there wasn’t much oxygen going to my brain at that hour. A few other tidbits are that everyone should check out Strava and Sir Walter Miler. The former is a running/cycling app, the latter is a grassroots running group in Raleigh doing a lot of cool things in the area.
