AO: The Arena

YHC has posted The Arena enough to know that afternoon sun can get pretty darn hot. The current heatwave was not something in which I wanted to workout and shade can be hard to come by at Healing Transitions. I did remember one time when Peach Pit was Q, and he took us to a nice shady stretch of grass under some big oak trees. That would be my plan for today.
When I pulled up to the Healing Transitions lot I immediately recognized all the PAX were F3 Raleigh regulars (no HT residents) who could handle a tougher workout so I upped my energy accordingly.

Give the mission and quick disclaimer since there were no FNGs
Since The Arena is an abbreviated workout, I abbreviated the warm up as well.

Main Event
1) Mosey to the field along Biggs Drive that is lined with nice big, shady Oaks for Sevens: Squats and Burpees
2) Bear Crawl/Lunge Walk Sevens: Merkins and Carolina Dry Docks. Many PAX modified and swapped bear crawls out for lunge walks.
3) Mosey back to start for Mary

Naked Moleskin:
Shade wasn’t bad at all. It was actually pretty nice.
Footy was the lone sunbather, happily working out in the sun.
El Duce is prepared to bring the next iteration of The Ocho back to official F3 AOs.
The HT PAX were all enjoying “Fun Day,” and El Duce promised us there would be no one working out.
