Even though the cold weather made it challenging for everyone to drag themselves out, the Nutcracker welcome another FNG, Boy George. After a quick disclosure, we were off.
Warm Up: Jog through the parking lot up to the street and then down the stairs to the playground where everyone ran up and down the hill on the side of the school all the way down to the track. After a slight pause to let the Pax regroup, we started with the standard warm up exercises of SSH x13, Cotton Picker x13, Fazio Arm Circles x 13 forward x 13 backwards, and slow to fast cadence Mountain Climber x13.
To get the workout started off on the right foot, the Pax jogged over to the track and partnered up. Each partner ran in the opposite direction until meeting back up with their partner and did 13 one-legged burpees all on the same leg. Each partner then went back to running until meeting up with their partner again and did 12 one-legged burpees on the opposite leg. The Pax repeated this until meeting back at the starting point all the way down to 1 burpee. For the next part of the workout, everyone jogged to the front of the school and laid on the ground in a single line alternating plank and six inch leg hold. The first person in line counted to 13 and then ran around the parking lot to the back of the line while the rest of the group switched position. The Pax cycled through a total of 3 times
