Just like the Q this AM I’m going to get right down to business.  At 0544 and no FNGs we counted off to a nice even 20 count of PAX, perfect!  On our mozy to the kiosk the Q instructed each pax couple to find out where they got their name from.  I was basically the Church Lady from SNL giving a topic to talks amongst yourselves.

Wait, what?  Why is it so dark!?!  YHC was used to the sun rising over New Hampshire.  This could get dangerous…

The Thang

Today’s mission is to stay moving through 5 different sets of exercises where 1s do a run, 2s do an amprap exercise, flapjack, perform broad jump burpees around the kiosk, then alt lunges until we move to the next set.  Here were the sets:

1.  The Path 

  • 1s: Run up the path, 20 star jumps
  • 2s: Plankjacks
  • Burpees around kiosk

2.  The Hill – The lack of light hindered this hill climb.  Finding single track path up was impossible.  Not sure even one of us found it.  It drew some complaints from the crowd…

  • 1s: Run up the hill, 20 merkins
  • 2s: Freddy Mercurys
  • Burpees around kiosk

3.  The Water – I should just call this the snakebite.  Lots of pax worried about kissing a snake on the bearcrawl to the water.  It didn’t cross my mind when planning so I was sticking with it.  I reminded everyone the disclaimer had me covered.  No, I didn’t say it today but it’s a lifetime Qarranty so back up off.

  • 1s: Run path then take a left and bear crawl to the water’s edge
  • 2s: 180 squat jumps
  • Burpees around the kiosk

4.  The Theater (because I don’t think I know how to spell amphitheater (see..))

  • 1s: Bunny hop up the aisle / lunge walk down
  • 2s: BTTW
  • Burpees around the kiosk

5.  The Boathouse

  • 1s: Run to the boathouse and UP the front steps and DOWN THE BACK STEPS to loop around.  Nothing else to say here (Billy and Saban…)
  • 2s: 10 urkins / 10 dips AMRAP
  • Burpees around the kiosk
