Today at Hi Fi we broke out an old favorite – Yasso 800s. The premise is simple. If you want to run a marathon in three hours and 30 minutes, one way to get there is running lots of 800s in three minutes and 30 seconds. It may sound strange but it works. So today we did five of these with recovery at a slower pace but for the same amount of time. This worked out to 600 meters on the recovery. No stopping, so we got in some distance. With the warm-up and cool down it came to about 5.5 miles by YHC’s count.
Just because BRR is over doesn’t mean that you should stop running.
