Summer is a’holding on as it was a muggy soggy morning in the kingdom of Excalibur. But 10 PAX were all in this morning and got dealt a couple hands of our 1st Deck of Death. No FNG’s present so we circled up and this happened…

THE THANG:
Deck of Death
Hearts – Star Jumps
Clubs – Prisoner Squats
Diamonds – Merkins
Spades – Burpees
Reps = Card number, Jacks=11, Queen=12, King=13, Aces=14, Joker=PAX choice
PAX sprint half field to dealers table by the pond, take a card and sprint back. Twas early, gloom was particularly dark this AM and we had a couple scares PAX overshot the table and taking a swim. Travolta tried his “U can’t see me” John Cena impression shuffling out line, but YHC has a hawkeye in the gloom, one of my mutant powers.
Lots of High Spades. YHC took first card, Ace of Spades and assured PAX it wasn’t planned. PAX wondered who shuffled the deck? Sprinkler may or may not have shuffled the remaining Spades to the bottom but he won’t telling.
Lucky got lucky twice getting both Jokers and had PAX:
– Sprint to rock pile, grab a big rock and Curls X 12, sprint back
– Bear crawl to Station half wall (that was a LONG crawl Lucky), Dips X 20, sprint back
Plankorama, squat holds and LBC’s while PAX picked a card. YHC has become quite fond of the Starplank.
Got through about 2/3 the deck but PAX were smoked by the end.
MARY:
Got her in between PAX card runs.
COT:
Running a little over so a quick Nameorama.
