16 PAX (4 FNGs) were greeted with the gift of another beautiful morning for us to continue our Agoge training. YHC decided it would be a good day to take in more of the sights that Wake Forest has to offer. Sometimes beautiful things bring hard work…

The Thang:

Warmup
SSH x 20
Imperial Walkers x 20
Sir Fazio (forward & back) x 10
Mountain Climbers x 20
Bear-crawl Indian run around grassy area by Patterson Hall

Partner climb & AMRAP
Mosey down the hill, across the soccer field, and through the woods to Paschal #4. Plank and enjoy the view from the heights while PAX regathers. Mosey down the fairway of #4 to the bottom (stay off the green) and find a partner. Partner 1 will run back up to the top, do 5 merkins, run back down. Partner 2 will do AMRAP of an exercise while waiting for partner to return. Flapjack!
Round 1: Standard Merkin
Round 2: Freddie Mercury
Round 3: CDD
Paschal #4 may not be Sisyphus, but it’s pretty darn close!

Wheel Barrows
Stay with partner, mosey back up #4, through the woods, and back to the soccer field. Wheelbarrow halfway across soccer field, flapjack and wheelbarrow the rest of the way across the field, flapjack back to middle, flapjack back to start. Rinse and repeat!

Now that the PAX were warmed up, it was time to head home. Mosey up hill and back to Patternson for some Mary.

Mary (Epoxy lead)

Agoge continues to grow! Keep getting the word out, it’s great to make a positive difference in someone’s life. Hoping the Shaggy Challenge will bring more Raleigh PAX out to join us too!
Welcome FNGs Magic, Woody, Lancelot, and Padre!
