After a quick pre-run with Pygmy (couldn’t join us for the workout due to back issues) YHC was already worn out!  But after eating more than I should have over the weekend, YHC needed to workout hard this morning.  So we did.  A few new items and some oldie but goodies.

THE THANG

Moseyed to the greenway for a little trip to the Tunnel.  Backwards ran for a bit, bear crawled, crab walked our way up and down the hills and to the tunnel.

MONKEY-JUMPERS – 3 humps and a jump makes 1.  Partnered up and did a set of 100 together (while one partner ran the tunnel).

Partner-chase (Carterico style) – 10 merkins for partner 1 while partner 2 runs backward then flap jack.  (Running backward up a hill is quite difficult…)

Got back to the tennis courts for some burpees back and forth across the court.

“Whatever it Takes” – Imagine Dragons – Freddy Mercuries during verse, LBC’s during chorus.  This was harder than I had estimated.

“Brass Monkey” Humpers

“300 Violin Orchestra” – plank wave.

YHC shared that we need to follow Paul’s words in 1 Cor 10:31 – “whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”  In all things today we should seek His glory, not our own.  Look out for others, not ourselves.  He is so good to us, we should reflect that to others.
