Cheddar Bo was a little hung over from last night’s Town of Apex staff Halloween Party (where I heard he dressed up like a war baby), so 26 PAX, including 2 FNGs were greeted with a locked gate, so were limited to the parking lot at Apex Community Park this morning (generally because YHC had planned on being on the other side of the park and was completely unfamiliar with this side). The workout had to be adjusted a little for the new location, but the PAX were more than helpful with suggestions on how to make it work.

Started with a quick warmup of SSH, Good Mornings, Imperial Walkers, and Cotton Pickers

The Halloween-themed Thang included several routines (tricks) and individual exercises (treats) that could be drawn from the jack-o-lantern. The workout included the following (mostly listed in order):

“Evil” Elevens – Merkins and Burpees

“Scary” Suicide – Lightpole suicide across the parking lot

Quickfeet

“Deathly” Dominos – Lined up with 2 PAX per curb down the parking lot, side planks with same hand high, first PAX rotates to regular plank for 5 Merkins and holds regular plank, goes down the line, switch hands and comes back down the line.
