On a humid, muggy and gloomy morn, 17 PAX posted to tie a Tobacco Road attendance record. I suspect the numbers were so great because 7 of the PAX were attempting the “6 pack challenge” and this is the only Thursday workout in Churham. I’ll take it.

Warm Up:
Mosey to the turf field and circle up and count off.

SSH x 20
Good mornings x 10
Windmills x 10
LBAC x 10
LBAC backwards x 10
Stretch

The Thang:
Jog to the rock pile and pick out a medium size rock and run a couple hundred yards to the Tobacco Trail

Indian Rock Lunges:
Combine the fun of rock exercises, walking lunges and the Indian run…for about 1/4 mile down the trail. The PAX spread out and begin walking lunges. The PAX at the back runs to the front, so on and so forth until everyone has gone twice. During the lunging portion, the rocks are used in various ways (bicep curls, overhead presses, hold the rock out and “normale”)

After two times through, jog back to the rock pile to deposit them.

Usain’s Balls:
One soccer ball is kicked down the hill (and in the woods, and into the baseball field). The second soccer ball with exercises is rolled. One PAX chases the ball, the rest do the exercise until he gets back. Rinse and repeat x 17. Q note: The PAX did their damndest to screw this one up. At one point, the ball was kicked deep in the woods/brush and it was unclear if we would ever find the ball. The rest of the PAX did penalty burpees until the ball was located.

Final station: Bear crawl ~50 yards up and around the U-shaped path near the playground.

Mary:
Without putting your legs down:
6 inch leg raises x 20
LSF x 20 cadence
Freddie Mercuries x 20 cadence
6 inch leg bobbers x 20

Recover then 15 cadence Russian Hammers.

COT:

Congrats to the 7 PAX who are doing the 6 pack challenge. There is always 3 more weeks to complete it.
