12 men came out hungry for a solid workout. YHC could tell these men were eager and chomping at the bit to get a good one in. Weather was nice and the group was off on the minute to head over to our usual warm up spot at the bank.
Katniss had alerted us to the fact that Franklin was seen in his sleek BMW with F3 sticker on his way over. Even during warm up, no sign of Franklin so it was assumed he was heading to some other early morning destination of which we probably wouldn’t make mention of. Nonetheless, here came our man of the hour just as warm up was nearly over. 15xgood morning, 15x merkein, 15x Imperial walker and 10x burpee for penalty for the late arrival.
Jog over to Burt park (no Burt though) and partner up. Partner 1 bearcrawl the length of the grass and jog back. Partner 2 dips. keep flapjacking until 100 dips is reached between the team. Next up, same thing but this time 100x irkeins between the team. Each man likely did around 8-9 lengths of bearcrawl and back.
Jog over to YHC’s home away from home, the parking deck and muster at the bottom. Partner 1 runs up 1 flight, back down to bottom, runs up 2 flights, back down to bottom, and finally up all three flights and back to bottom. Partner 2 does 15x merkein & 20 lbc’s and repeato until P1 returns and flapjack. Do this 2 more times with the bottom work being 20xsumo squat and 15x dying cockroaches, then finally 10x wide arm merkeins and 20x freddy mercurys.
assemble over on side field. Line up in plank position in a line, nose to toes facing uphill. Last man bearcrawl to front while the line holds plank. repeat indian run style up the hill, around the side and back down so that each man makes 3x bearcrawl. this whole thing is harder than it sounds and was borrowed from Urban Jungle.
indian run back to starting area and 6″ leg hold around the horn. Good work.
