YHC had been tentative to Q for a number of weeks but usurpers kept taking the reigns.  This morning, however, I finally got the chance as Franzia told me to take it so I got my chance to fill in the blank.  At a coffeeteria the previous week I had talked to Captain Kangaroo about the pantsuit revolution workout.   As luck would have it, I had something new up my sleeve for Catalyst as well.

No FNGs so disclaimer was given, “Disclaimer” and a PAX of 27 was off.

Warm Up:

Jog from Carroll around the round FC bank up the stairs and down the other set of stairs, then around the bank again through the drive through.  Circle up in the parking lot for:

Imperial Walkers X 15

Good Mornings X 15

Might as well get to the good stuff…..with a pax of 27 this was a long Circle Burp…high knees all around until each PAX member got to call down for a burpee.

The Thang:

with everybody warm, we jogged to the amphitheater field for the new exercise of the day:  Burpee Squat Scuba Buddhas which is a squat into a scuba buddha…..easy….set of 7s starting with 6 BS and 1 SB.

Those sucked but I thought we would have time for another set later.  Recover on the run to the WOB parking deck.  Time for PDRs.  Parking Deck Races.

Divided into two groups, one group went up the stairs to the top stopping at each level for 5 burpees.  The other group went up the ramps stopping at each level for 2 merkins, increasing by two each time.   Flapjack two times with some other exercises like star jumps and carolina dry docks thrown in.  Each time at the top of the ramp we would do a peoples chair until all were present for a Mary exercise….set of 50 of Hammers, LBCs, dying cockroach, etc.

Recover on the run to the white building parking lot…..no time left so, one last set of burpees, 10 oyo.  Alas, no more time for burpee squat scuba buddhas.
