An excellent cool morning for the PAX of 23 taking their #DRP at NC Museum of Art, VSF planted. Once you got the loop down below this one was simple, but not easy. This is where 11s became Team 22s, Aye!
The Thang:
Short warm-up in the fancy car parking lot, partner up & gather at the top of the amphitheater:
SSH x 10, Spiderman Merkins x 10, Good Mornings x 10, Plank Jacks x 10
Main Event
Run down steps and along the dirt path to the left, enter parking lot and then enter paved trail to the end of the pond.
Set of 11’s by both partners (Hand Release Merkins & Dying Cockroaches)
Run up paved patch on the left to the top of the Amphitheater.
Set of 11’s by both partners using the benches (Derkins & Dips)
repeat the above until 6:13

-Welcome FNG O-Town fka Luke Ryals courtesy of Mr. Hand. Born in 1997, obviously missing an O in the last name….#cobains, it’s the best we could do. YHC noted all PAX chose the incline for Hand-Release Merkins, not sayin’ just sayin’. Denali likes to chat, even when Au Pair is not around….where’s AP been this week? There was apparently a TPS Report sighting early on, but no visibility at COT or recall during the set. Things that make you go #hmmmm…..someone please clarify.
–The Mule is this Saturday (6am from Carroll Middle School), no Whiplash, Catalyst, Pullen or Ambassador. From 3/12 through April 23rd Whiplash will run from 6-7:30, great format for those competing in the MudRun April 30th.
-Several PAX are now 2/3 through the #5PtsTriple, let’s hope the burrito budget is fully funded. Any other site Q would be giddy with the prospects of a large crew posting at their AO tomorrow, but this is Frank Norris we’re talking about. He doesn’t do anything for a Klondike bar.
-YHC still learning some of the newer faces, #cobains Containment. Blue Crush accused Chippendale of wimping out this morning (in his own words, #NSFW) and Pantyhose agreed, at least that’s how I remembered it. Several teams completed 3 full loops, don’t think it was most. T-claps to Red Card and My Boy Blue for obtaining the #VT.
