YHC rolled out pre-dawn in search of some tasty waves. The surf report showed chest to head high, glassy. The PAX were in for a treat. With one Q under his belt two days earlier, YHC’s Q-confidence was at an all-time high.

The Paddle Out:

The Thang:

To the soccer field and partner up. Line up down center line, run in opposite directions to respective end lines for merkins x 25. Meet back in the center, AMRAP LBCs until your partner arrives. Then LBCs x 25 together. 

Repeato x 4 – switch up the end line to Burpees, Merkins, Burpees, Merkins

YHC wanted to do the greenway loop next but the sun was fartsacking. The alternative would not disappoint. 

Run to the shelter. YHC would like to pretend he didn’t miss the shelter and planned for a long loop.

The PAX enter the shelter. The PAX are not alone there. It’s too dark to really see anything but…

YHC: “How’s it going?”

Young Homer and Marge: *silence* [Female silhouette sits up. Male remains prone.]

YHC considers leaving them to it, but decides the PAX’s fitness takes priority. PAX execute three full sets (Step ups x 20, Irkins x 20, Dips x 20). Homer and Marge barely move and never say a word. The PAX exit stage right. Thanks for the memories, H&M.
