5 Pax started off the morning with an EC run. The clock struck 5:30 and 13 more PAX and a dog joined to kick off the Nutcracker with some Bern!
EC: Deadbolt, 187, Chips, Buford, Dawgpound
Vests: Skidmark
Warm Up:
Lap around the main parking lot over to the parking lot where the bricks hide.
- Side Straddle Hops – 20 IC
- Imperial Walkers – 15 IC
- Hillbillies – 15 IC
- Sir Fazio Arm Circles – 10 IC forwards, 10 IC backwards
- Good Mornings – 15 IC

The Thang:
Everyone grabbed two bricks from the hiding spot and ran over to the bottom of the hill/ramp by the basketball goals. We were greeted by a bunch of cones for some Hill Brick Suicides. The cones were roughly 15 yards apart and all exercises and runs were done with your bricks in tow. The idea was to do the exercise at the bottom of the ramp, run up to the first cone and do the listed exercise, run back to the bottom and do the listed exercise, then run up to the second cone, and so on… the exercises are below.
- Bottom of hill/ramp – 10 Romanian Deadlifts
- Cone #1 – 20 Derkins
- Cone #2 – 20 Burpees
- Cone #3 – 20 Incline Plank Tucks
- Cone #4 – 20 Butterfly situps
- Cone #5 – 20 Jump Tucks
- Cone #6 – 20 Irkins with alternating rows
- Cone #7 – 20 Air Squats
- Cone #8 – 20 Merkins
Those that finished first went and picked up the Six, while some moved the soccer goals for the school and others did planks and squats.
On to the soccer field where we did the bear crawl with brick drags the width of the field. This got interesting as some were reaching back and dragging their bricks forward while others were reaching back and throwing theirs forward!
Once all Pax reached the other side, we did a round of LBCs – 20 IC.
From there we did an Indian Run back towards the ramp through the main parking lot and over to return the bricks.
Mary:
Flutter Kicks – 20 IC
Prayer Requests:
- Dauber’s back
- Crab Legs
I took us out in prayer.
Thanks for allowing me to lead!
Bernie… Out!
