At 0545 we had 16 PAX
At 0630 we had 16 PAX
Between 0550 and 0625 we had 17 PAX.

It all started on a cold morning in the Peak of Good Beatdowns (TM).  PAX arrived in the gloom learning how to adjust to the new cold temps.  You can tell the new guys from the seasoned guys pretty easily on mornings such as this.  PBX is clearly a seasoned vet of the cold glooms…shorts and a tshirt like it’s nothing.

So to warm the bones a bit we hit some SSH x 20 then made our way to the basketball court for the rest of the warmup:

10 GM, 15 Hillbillys, 25 Merkins

After that some guy pulls up and runs up to meet us for the next exercise.  YHC didn’t recognize him but we were already “on the line” so I had to keep moving…come to find out mid workout he’s an FNG and never got the disclaimer.  It’s fine though, really, it’s not like he’s a lawyer, haha, no not at all, we are fiiiine.  Yup.  He’s a lawyer…

Moving on…

Line up down the sideline for short sprints:
Sideline to Sideline then 5 Merkins / 5 Monkey Humps
2 x Side to Side then 5 and 5
3 x , 2  x, then 1 x
…a mini-mid I guess you can say.  Just getting the bodies warmed up.

Mosey to the upper lot round-about stopping for 15 CDDs and 15 jump lunges along the way.

Sidenote:  At this upper lot there is a round about I looked at on Google Maps.  From space it looks like a teardrop so it’s a great spot to make the PAX cry for mercy.  Keep it in mind future Qs.

1s and 2s for a few teardrop sets:

1s – Bear crawl the teardrop
2s – Sprint to front of parking lot and back
(Flapjack)
1s – Broadjump Burpee the teardrop
2s – Sprint to front of parking lot and back
(Flapjack)

Off to the rock pile.  PAX are winded and want to use their muscles.
1s – Bicep curls AMRAP
2s – Run to the birdge and back, 10 squat jumps at the bridge
(Flapjack)
Next Tricep Ext
Then WWIIs (we were supposed to do those at the teardrop…)

Q is right on time, even though Khakis has to take off for some sort of surgery or something.  Probably Sky Blues shoulder but I dunno…

COT
Count:  16 (but really 17)
FNG:  Matlock (interstingly enough his name is Matt…)
