TS Andrea left a Monday morning gift for #F3RaleighNorthHills as a pine tree had fallen across the entrance to North Hills Park. Let’s just say it was by far the best smelling part of the workout. Thankfully, the pine tree missed the house across the street and had already been cut to clear our path to Monday’s workout. I’ll leave it up to GORUCK Class 604 to determine if they want to call dibs on the aforementioned pine. It’s telephone pole quality. After a quick warm up run, we circled up and did 25 X SSH, good mornings, mountain climbers, and imperial walkers.
Baseball Field: Since N.C. State punched their ticket to Omaha last night, we jogged over to the baseball field to continue the fun. Carolina will be Omaha bound following tonight’s game. Out of respect to Maize, I’ll allow each PAX to choose their preferred “Carolina” in the previous sentence.
Tennis Courts: With the French Open wrapping up over the weekend, we headed to the tennis courts to demonstrate our own clay court prowess…otherwise known as running on wet asphalt and avoiding the bees Johnny Utah “met” last Monday. Two sets of burpee suicides, balls to the wall, and people’s chair to wrap up our court work.
Picnic Shelter: Next up in the rotation – not a picnic. Incline merkins, dips, decline merkins, more dips, alternating left/right step ups.
Sisyphus Hill: Audible groans were heard as we departed the picnic shelter and hung a right…yep Sisyphus Hill. For FNGs and those new to F3RaleighNorthHills, this beast of a hill along the Raleigh Greenway was named for Sisyphus from Greek mythology. Unlike Sisyphus, it only took one run down and back up for us.
Mary: 25 count of LBC, Freddie Mercury, Rosalita, and five count of six-inch leg hold.

Moleskin:
Great to have Outboard (FNG) join us this morning. Welcome!
Prayers for Cotton’s father who is battling cancer.
T-Claps to Lamp for the tweet Saturday morning about eight PAX who participated in the Komen Race for the Cure and for Caddie’s leadership spearheading the F3 team. Check out Fazio’s post entitled This is Why We Fight.
Bob Vila and Johnny Utah encouraged those who are interested to consider signing up for the Blue Ridge Relay, scheduled for September 6-7, 2013.
