No school for the kids, numerous workplace delays, treacherous side streets and a late-ish NFC Championship blowout — all legit reasons to blow off a crisp Monday morning post at North Hills Park. Alas, 5 brave PAX made the right choice — here’s what we did.
Circle up for SSH x 35, IW x 25 GM x 15 deep squat x 15. Mountain climbers x 25; stay down in plank position. Plank walk right 1/4 circle for nipplers x 20. Plank walk half circle for plank jack x 20, half-circle more for half burpees, 1/4 circle for 20 more nipplers and finish with plank, right arm, left arm.
Run down to park entrance at Currituck — split into 2 groups. 3 run to corner of Currituck and Tyrrel for 10 cinder block burpees (conveniently pre-placed in gutter) while other 2 run to corner of Yadkin and Currituck for 10 merkins and 10 squats. Alternate stations at each corner, staying together the entire time. We definitely hit a few slick spots, but luckily no falls or crushed skulls. YHC called 5 sets at each station but we only made it to 4.
Cross-country ski over to the picnic shelter for irkins x 20, dips x 25, single leg deep squat right x 15, derkins x 10, single leg left x 15, irkins x 20. On the table tops for H2H x 25, flutter x 25, finish with 10 single leg burpees OYO, 5 per leg.

Prayers for Hash Brown’s neighbor Henry, dealing with congestive heart failure and the blessing the Patel’s can be to him; for a friend of Yoda’s (Stephanie aka “Fruity”) who lost a second child (Savannah), taken off the ventilator at 5 months of age. For Joey Propst (husband of Biz Harrison), recovering from a stroke, in rehab and dealing with speech issues and paralysis on his left side.
