The PAX should have had a pre-blast, they should have gone running more, it should’ve been a race, they should’ve had more a of a disney theme, and it was supposed to stop raining.

Suprise- it’s the gloom and it’s here to make things uncomfortable.

On that note (a quick disclaimer) the 17 PAX took off from the art museum parking lot towards the bridge of 440.

At the bottom of the big hill: (the only Disney themed part of the workout- although it lasted the whole workout if you were keeping score) There’s this movie called Toy Story and you may not know this, but woddy and buzz are actually the same weight. Find a partner who is your same weight and pair up.

Partner carry- go up from the bottom of the hill to the top, switch as needed. Plank at the top until all arrive. 15x Partner merkins: not that silly business where you touch hands with your partner and each of you does a merkin- grasp hands the whole time and while you plank- pull them up.

Pull rotation: One partner does 10 pull ups while the other does these exercises in cadence: (always sets of 20) Merkin, Nippler, Dry dock, LBC, Box Cutter, Flutter Kick, Freddie Mercury.

Leg rotation: Partner who finished pull ups last- Jump on your partner’s back. Partner Squats 25x in cadence, flapjack. All: 20x Merkins, 20x Scissor Jumps. Repeat. At the end of the second time through- get into pull up position on the bridge facing away from the fence, 10x leg raises/ heels raises.

Run back to the parking lot- along the way- 20x LBC, 20x Freddie Mercury, 20x 6″ Leg hold. Upon reaching the parking lot, dive into the rest of Mary. 20x Box Cutter, 20x Flutter Kick, 20x Freddie Mercury.

Prayer requests (which came before announcements): Java’s brother in law, Cujo, LOTS OF BABIES WERE BORN (praises)

Announcements: Komen race is happening at some point, beer was last night.

Always a privilege to lead- thanks for letting me break the rules.

Romans 5: 1-5: Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
