The Shaggy Challenge enabled a rare(and by rare I mean never) appearance from some Friends from Raleigh.  The Possum welcomed Epoxy, Screech, Higgins and Friar Tuck and 1 FNG into the sticky muck that is Fuquay Varina.  I wasn’t privileged enough to get to know Ring Worm but after reading his obituary and hearing Epoxy tell a few stories about him it was a given we’d honor him at the workout this morning.  These stories immediately led me to think of Mountain.  I think that’s a great way to describe Simon Turner Everett.  By all accounts everything he did was Big!!  So that’s how we honored him this morning with a Mountain of a workout…

The Mountain

Merkins and Russian Hammers 1 to 15

Peak- 2 Min Peoples Chair

Carolina Dry Docks and WWII Sit Ups 14 down to 1

Mary-

COT-  I discussed with the gents how important it is to live every day on Earth like it’s your last.  Give life every thing you have just like you do with your work outs.  Clearly that’s what Ring Worm did and we owe it to ourselves to do the same.  But also as important as it is to live this life to the fullest it’s even more important to know Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He offers Eternal life and again there’s no question when you hear the stories about Ring Worm he knew him, believed in him and lived life through him.  Amen.  Our FNG is from Delaware so Blue Hen was nominated and accepted.    Thanks again to Epoxy, Friar Tuck Higgins and Screech for making the trek out.  It’s great to see you on this side and I hope you come back and join us again.  Howard took us out in Prayer.
