37 Degrees at North Hills Mall today…. No parking space cones up. Q arrived to find a Christmas Tree on his turf, I mean on the artificial turf. Perhaps I/m the only one who found it fitting that an artificial tree had sprung up in the middle of artificial grass….. next up artificial deer and artificial deer poop….

BTW, my streetlight, named “Desire” has still not been replaced…. it’s been 8 weeks now….sigh…I think it’s just a sign of the time of man.

Four Pax on hand at the start – including Vanilla Fudge…..named for a band (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanilla_Fudge) at the first concert he went to that also held “Cream” and a guy you might have heard of “Jimi Hendrix”. Our fifth wheel arrived right on time (for him) during the Good Morning Stretches.

The Q pulled a goof today – Dice hates being cold. Moved out of the frozen tundra (Of Chicago…which brings up the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field..and the Packers..and the unmerciful beat down my Bears received last night…42-0 at the half… seriously…Trestman…thats…thats….I have no words for that, Dude) to escape the bone chill inducing cold…so Dice put on his body core thermal base layer pants, a thin cotton long pants, cotton T-shirt, Cotton zip up sweat shirt, a runners skull cap..and gloves…and proceeded to sweat thru the hat in the first 5 minutes..stubborn mule didn’t take the sweatshirt off quick enough and almost vomited during the work-out…more later:

Q Thought for the day / BOM:
The Q is not much of an organized religious man..so my own “Religion of Man” leads me to see that there are a small silver of folks who are genuinely good people basically all the time, selfless, altruistic and go out of their way to always help others (first and foremost)… and then on the opposite end of the spectra are the more numerous Takers…who never go out of their way to help others, unless there is significant gain for themselves…the me firsters…me first and always…no matter who else gets harmed. The rest of us swarm in this big cluster between the two, sometimes doing good, sometimes not….and we get influenced by those we choose to have around us, by those we choose to listen to…. so I challenge you to try to identify who those truly “good” people are and spend more time trying to be around them, to help them and try to emulate them…. so that there are fewer days for you to look back and question decisions you made yesterday or feel guilt or shame on choices made after the fact.
