6 PAX met for some morning shenanigans under the direct supervision of two of Wake County’s finest.  We felt safe in the high 40’s as we meandered about preparing for the beat down that was coming.

The EC:  None. YHC is recovering from a nasty blister on a surgical scar–lesson learned Duct Tape actually works great to keep foot injuries from getting more aggravated.

The Warm up:

SSH, Merkins, Imperial Walkers

The Thang:

For ~10 min YHC led the PAX through the agility ladder and ensuing cone maze to keep our agility sharp.  It is music to my ears when I hear “Oh $#@!” when we start the Icky Shuffle or Karaoke

At the end PAX held plank for the 6.  Then it was off to the courts for BLIMPS.

  • 5 burpees
  • 10 Lunges each leg
  • 15 Imperial walkers
  • 20 Merkins
  • 25 Plank Jacks
  • 30 Squats

As we neared the “M” station, Spielberg calls out “Whats M?” (Merkins) “Oh I thought it would Monkeyhumpers.” So from then on rounds 2 and 3 became Monkeyhumpers and plank jacks were dropped and Merkins became the 25 rep station.  On the last station to move between each corner of the court, Duck Walk, Bear Crawl, Crab Walk, Choice.  Choice became rather interesting with PAX inventing some rather peculiar movements.

Back to the Flag with 10 minutes to spare PAX partnered up for some catch me if you cans.   Partner A ran out ahead and B did 5 body shakers then ran to catch A.
