YHC was a few minutes early to the AO, though a quick trip to the woods put us behind just slightly, story for another day. With 7 PAX in tow and no FNG’s, no disclaimer was given and we were off.

The Wolf:

Out to Centennial Parkway, down to Avent Ferry, up to Western, and onto campus, we made our way to the Bell Tower for a little work. Peoples Chair, BTW, Dips, and back to Peoples Chair.

Head west down Hillsborough, find our way to the Brickyard for a LBC Pyramid to 20 & back, and 10 Standard Merkins.  Down to the “Free Expression Tunnel”  back up the hill to Western and across and back to our starting place.

COT:

YHC as honorary Resident Philosopher continues to hold to the belief that running sucks, and in the same sentence believes the best way to handle is to Embrace the suck.  The good thing about running with YHC is that the PAX can expect a break of some sort every 10 minutes or so.

After YHC caught his breath he remarked on a sermon listened to the previous day where the pastor remarked on the importance of not loosing sight of the fact that God came here to save us, Philippians 2:5-11. That in the Christmas season we tend to focus on Jesus as our example and need to focus more on the simple fact the God emptied Himself and became obedient to the point of death so that we may live eternally with Him.  Presents and time with family is great but keep the main thing the main thing.

Christmas party Monday the 22nd 7 at Tyler’s Tap Room Seaboard Station, RSVP if you haven’t done so yet.

Prayers for Lo Pair, Chili Dog, and those unspoken.  Tony Robbins took us out in style.

CW out!
