Warm Up – none we stayed in our cars with the heat on…
The Thang
YHC led the PAX on a little jog across the campus to the playground. Using the structure children find joy in for periods of 30 minutes a day, YHC decided to utilize it for stations of not so much joy.
- “Box” jumps
- Pull Ups
- “Box” jumps again or Step Ups
- Burpees
- Bear Crawls
PAX AMRAPed each station, PAX rotated when the Bear Crawl man got from point A to B and then back. Rinse and Repeat for 3 rounds
Quick jog over to the covered shelter and found a spot on the benches for Dips, Incline Merkins, Dips, Incline Merkins, Derkins (20 each until the derkins–10 for that one)
Recovery lap around the track then indian run back to flag.
PAX grabbed a pet rock and toed the line. There were 11 lines that made up parking spaces from the start line to the crosswalk. There were 11 on the return trip too… 5 reps for exercise.
On the way down alternating lines:
- Squat-Curl-Press
- Merkins
On the way back alternating lines:
- Curls
- Merkins
