No songs in my head this morning on the way to North Hills Park for the PAX of 19 (1 from a distance). Didn’t feel like 37 degrees, but numbers do not lie. Without a plan in place, the instincts were to simply cover ground rarely used on Monday’s…, turned out to be a decent amount of ground actually. Sure feels a lot closer in a car. It’s not as dark as it used to be, but still too dark to read the signs……that’s my story at least and I’m sticking to it.

Naked Moleskin:

Additional Item: This was shamefully overlooked at first, but it must be noted that Orwell chose a most unusual form for the max pull-ups to go with the sprints. YHC noticed an odd an odd motion to his pull-ups causing the same reaction one has when flipping through channels 50-70 on cable and gets a split second of an Animal Channel special on mating habits. Rather than simply grab the ledge like the rest of us, Orwell chose to straddle the parking deck post as an assist to pull himself up….and let’s just say he was getting in a solid rep count as a result at a pretty good clip. Au Pair can vouch as witness, I guess the cold got in the way of us making the best of our opportunity. Where’s White Shoe when you need him to coin a phrase to accompany the infamous “Swap of Shame” label Wilson gifted us. Let the nominations begin below…..

-3rd F Dinner Nov 12th @ Tyler’s Tap Room 6pm. RSPV Here:

-Sign up for Hopebuilder in the next couple of weeks if you can:

-T-claps to the City of Oaks crew in addition to the Tough Mudder. A few of your posted this morning….strong! Way to represent.

-Plenty of patience shown this morning, a few had their comfort zones tested for sure but pushed through. #keepmovingforward There was some solid 2nd  F going on as well. Ernie arrived 30 seconds late and searched the trail for us, got his workout in still and prayed us out at COT. Some would have simply gone back home, not Ernie. T-claps to Higgins, he’s traveled far in short time. We’ve all been there, it gets better faster than you think.
