9 Men were lucky enough to get out in the Gloom this morning with minimal rain. RDU needed the rain so we can’t complain but starting your week with a mid-40’s, rainy beatdown after the Panthers were obliterated is tough. We persevered.

Start with 20 x SSH and 20 x IW

Mosey to the parking lot on the other side of the park that is pretty well lit and has 6 street lights. Starting at one end of the parking lot we did suicides.
Run to the 1st light and do 5 merkins, run back and do 5 squats
Run to the 2nd light and do 10 merkins, run back and do 10 squats
Run to the 3rd light and do 15 merkins, run back and do 15 squats
Etc. Etc.

Did it again only this time it was Mountain Climbers and Flutters

Jog over to the Oberlin Court Parking Deck and run to the top. A quick round of mary that consisted of 20 x LBCs, Freddy Mercurys, and American Hammers (Russian Twists for YHC).

Starting at the top of Oberlin Court Parking Deck we ran down to each elevator for 5, 10, and 15 burpees, running back to the top after each trip down.

Jog it back home.

NMS:
I enjoyed my inaugural Q at Zero Hour. In my mind that back parking lot was a lot bigger and had a lot more street lights, but doing the suicide exercises twice served the same purpose so I hope everyone got their money’s worth. Life Alert, Bullhorn, Horsehair, and My Boy Blue made quick work of the back parking lot exercises and Life Alert was out in front on the burpees. Impressive work fellas.

It’s always nice to get out and sweat in the gloom; takes your mind off life’s problems for a while, most of mine are fantasy football related so I consider myself lucky.
