EC round of 2.5+ Miles by ManRam, Captain Kangaroo, and YHC Banjo
As is custom in Carpex, YHC made his introductory rounds, there were only a handful of men unknown to YHC, well, remembered would be a better word. There was Froyo from F3Sandhills, whom YHC met a year ago at nephew Fried Green Tomatoes wedding post. Turkish Bath who has more tenure in F3 but still had never Q’d 😮. Mr Crabs and McFly also veteran never to have Qd pax.
Something about leading up to Catalyst had been a card that YHC just had not played, though there have been more than several handfuls of postings. YHC was glad Zima’s collection notice was here.
Mosey towards North Hills parking deck with 2 stops in route for warm-up: SSH, mtn climbers, good am, SIR Fazio Arm circles, imp walkers.
At parking deck, line up for suicide pull ups. AYG to 1st beam, 5 pullups, jog back. AYG to 2nd beam, 5 pullups, jog back, continue to 3rd, 4th, …8th beam. Gazelles pick up the 6s. There will be no rest.
Recover jog to Rowan and Pamlico. YHC loves the 11’s, they separate the men from the boys. Your soul can be rewarded or utterly crushed. And with Vandy losing to Dayton, it was time to reach deep down and see what these men are made of. 18 men showed they had the right stuff. But to YHCs chagrin, Zima fartsacked and did not show on his only opportunity to collect.
11s on the long hill announced; starting with 10 merkins at the bottom and back up for 1 burpee. Finish with 10 burpees at top. Gazelles pick up the 6s. Soul crushers- Turkish Bath visited the trees.

Recover on the jog back to Carol MS for Mary, led by the 3 pax that have never Qd: Turkish Bath, Mr Crabs, McFly: LBCs, dying cockroaches, WWII, box cutters, merkins, and ???

Katniss tweeted out last night asking what YHC would be wearing due to Vandys loss to Dayton. Standard Banjo attire, though YHC was ready to man up to whatever Zima had in store – nothing. He was a no show for his own party.
The men were a tight lipped group this am. Despite all the coaxing, not much said before set of 11s.
The Captain expressed complete disdain for all the running following the EC run. That is the sheer beauty of F3. You step up and post never knowing what you will face.
