Last week’s morning of gloom brought the numbers down a bit, but everyone that drug themselves out of bed brought their energy level for another intense workout.
Warm Up: Jog over to the side parking lot for Karaoke x4, Lateral Shuffle x2, and then jog over to the other side of the school for the remainder of warmup with SSH x20, Fazio Arm Circles x 20 forward x 20 backwards, Good Morning x20, and slow to fast cadence Mountain Climber x20.
Low and behold more bricks magically appeared, this time in the form of cinder blocks. Everyone scooped one up and jogged over to the playground. To get things started and the shoulders burning, everyone lined up for a Balls-to-the-Wall with shoulder tap in cadence x15. The Pax then broke in to 3 groups. Group 1 started at the cinder block station doing 20 bicep curls followed by 20 tricep presses and kept switching back and forth reducing by increments of 1 down to 1 (or 5 depending on how much time they had). Group 2 did decline merkins on the benches starting with 15 and then reducing by an increment of 1 down to 1. Group 3 alternated pull-ups on the monkey bars starting with 10 and again reducing reps by an increment of 1 down to 1. To wrap things up, everyone lugged their cinder blocks plus the extras back to the other side of the track for their new permanent home in the woods.
