“It’s just been a long week, that’s all.”
“It’s Monday night, Jess.”
“My point exactly.”

― Scott Westerfeld, Touching Darkness

Twenty-six PAX touched the light Monday at Chapel Hill Fetzer workout and from here their week is decidedly downhill. Shooter had a Field Day extravaganza planned and, with the exception of a lot of sweat and a zillion field turf beads from Navy Field, it went off without a hitch.

The Thang:

Warmup: SSH x 20, Prisoner Squats x 10, Windmills x 10, Arm circles x 10 each direction, Carolina Dry Docks x 10, Merkins x 10.

Split into two groups.

Walt takes one group and runs Four Corners around Navy Field, stopping at each corner for an exercise.

Meanwhile Shooter takes the other group and circles up for a 100x Merkin Pyramid and a Squat/Burpee ladder from one to five.

At 10 minutes, the groups switch from the Circle of Pain to Four Corners and vice versa.

Then all PAX line up at the end line of the football practice field and Bear Crawl the length of the field, stopping every 10 yards for a Burpee. Plank it out at the end until everyone finishes. Then back in the other direction, Walking Lunge with a stop every 10 yards for a Merkin.

We circled up for Mary with LBCs, Turkey Basters and Mountain Climbers.
