Biggest Takeaways from the Event from the Q’s (BOUCHER’, MLF, YODA, DIRTY PIPES, STRETCH)

  1. YODA: Boucher Q absolutely uncivil. Midget for life sally up Sally down Q: hated it. Dirty pipes I call his q throw back f3 Intimacy q Partner wheel barrels nope balls to the wall with no wall. NOPE And all of those bear crawls in the stickers my man did not care. Stretch your Q well bear crawl burpees stops, good times Yep it’s unanimous and obvious Yoda Q was the most civil and team finish was the focus. We truly left no man where we found him. We found one man in the park and he ended up coming with us to the end and became F3 Jail Break. Last thing I am worried about the trains in Garner with all those spikes missing. 
  2. BOUCHER: Loved the complaints for a 10 min Workout, Bring Sally Up Mahktar N Diayes, FNG’s coming out and joining the CSUAP!
  3. DIRTY PIPES: Everybody pushed hard, FNG’s and headlocking during the event! Fantastic route by Decoy.
  4. MIDGET: Commaraderie and friendships have grown in the area. Great Q’s all around by the guys. Finished on time!
  5. STRETCH (YHC) my list is a little longer.
  6. Could not have happened without Duaber, Gump, Jerk on the bikes and Rerun driving the Trailer with all our gear, hydrations, and fuel.
  7. All the PAX finished with 10+ miles and 5 great beatdowns, All the Q’s did a great job of keeping the PAX connected, pushed everybody and modified when needed (BIG THANKS TO DIRTY PIPES changing his mind and not making us wheel barrel through the really bad grass stickers).
  8. Mad respect to FNG (Despacito) coming out to CSUAP for first event, and on the spot FNG (Jailbreak) who literally joined us in the middle of his run and crushed the finish.
  9. Loved how the PAX pushed each other but also supported each other, guys pulling extra miles coming back for the six.
  10. Mumble Chatter is always the best at CSUAP, these events are the glue, I was able to meet so many new PAX throughout this event. These events are tough on purpose but they pull guys together from all regions and promotes growth of not only the individual but makes lasting connections within the PAX, a memory that we all share now.
  11. YHC wanted to legend of Papa Smurf (Orignial Nantan of F3 ENC Nelson Cooper) to continue to live on with finishing the event with quote “Know that your life matters to many, so laugh everyday, and continue to push on”. While his physical life was taken by ALS his :COOPSTRONG” influence has continued to live on making a difference in other regions other than just the ENC area.
  12. YHC is so thankful for the men that came to THE ILIAD but JOCOGA men that helped make the event a possibility whether it be supplies from the PAX or Decoy helping make the route knowing he wouldn’t be able to attend the event.

7:00-7:10 Intro 7:10-7:20  Workout 1 Garner Magnet (Schoolhouse) Q: Boucher’: BEAR CRAWL- Merkin increasing distance and increased merkin count “Warm up”

7:20-7:50 2.5 mile run to Garner Station (12 min minimum pace)

7:50-8:00 Workout 2  Garner Recreation Center (Garner Station)  Q:Midget for life Tricep cycle: Irkens, Derkins, Dips on the down 2 rounds, Bring sally up/down PAX.

8:00-8:33 2.74 mile run to South Garner Park (12 min minimum pace)

8:33-8:43 Workout 3 South Garner Park  Q: Yoda (TYPEWRITTER groups of 5: 1 PAX doing 10+ Burpees and the rest in order performing Merkins, Squats, WW2, Hallelujah. Rotate when Burpee man gets tired).

8:43-9:07  2.02 run to Garner Veteran’s Memorial 

9:07-9:17 Workout 4 Lake Benson/GTR   Q:Dirty Pipes F3 bro time: Partner Wheel barrel: changed it to the Naked Grass instead of the death grass with sand spurs but still found all the spurs there as well. Complete each round with Burpees and Get ups. Balls to the walls only with your partner instead 10 count. Finished off with Mary.

9:17-9:42  2.09 Mile run to Vandora Springs Elementary  9:42-9:52

Workout 5 (Black Sheep)   Q:Stretch : Natural area OYO, Lunge to each natural area and complete 3, 5, 10 Burpees OYO, Al Gore for the six. Bear Crawl to each Natural area and 10 Mountain Climbers. Plank for the six. Finished the legs off before the big race with 1 round of Wimpie Legs: 10 Jumping Lunges, 10 squat jumps, 10 Mule kicks.

9:52-10:08 1.32 MILE RACE TO FINISH @ Schoolhouse Garner Magnet high school

10:10 COT/WRAP UP/GROUP PIC/AWARDS

OVERALL TOP 3 finishers: Sloth, Pickachu, Dirty Pipes

Top 3 Respect: Dirty Pipes, Dr. Quinn, Odell

Every man finished today and even some 2.0’s, YHC 2.0 Picasso finished the event on the bike today. (34 total today with support crew, Bikers, and runners)
