While perusing Twitter on Wednesday night, I came across Fungo’s pre-blast for the Judge and thought to myself, “That looks like fun.” Nine Pax showed up on time for DP’s own version of The Judge.
Warm Up
Jog down to the basketball court for Good Mornings x15, Imperial Walkers x15, Windmills x15 and Sir Fazio Arm Circles x10 each direction.
The Thang
Partner 1 ran the loop around the playground while partner two completed a continuous circuit of 10 Merkins, 15 squats and 20 LBCs (it was originally 15, 20 and 25 but Spin Class was whinging [obligatory GOT reference] so I changed it). We flapjacked when partner 1 returned and repeato’d until each individual partner had completed 4 trips around the playground. Spin Class, who had apparently read The Judge pre-blast, pointed out that it equaled 8 total laps. He also added that he came to DP because The Judge looked too hard. Oops. Upon completion of 8 total laps, we moseyed back to the parking lot. Note – At some point during the circuit, we gained a new Pax. Now 10 strong.
Starting at the bottom of the parking lot, partner 1 ran to the other end of the parking lot, did 1 burpee and returned to the bottom. Partner two completed a continuous circuit of 10 jumping lunges, 10 hand-release merkins and 10 WWIIs. By the time my partner and I made it to the parking lot, the younger Pax had misinterpreted my instructions and jump lunges were switched to jump squats. All good. We flapjacked when partner 2 returned with burpees increasing at the top of the parking lot by 1 each time. Time was called after 4 trips to the top for each Pax.

Special shout out to Muni Bond. He showed up (early) for General Assembly but never found the starting point. Instead of heading home, he made his way to DP and managed to find us in the gloom.
