After very little sleep – one of the chaperones in our cabin was running a buzz saw throughout the night that only got louder as sleep eluded each of us – YHC thought about letting the boys sleep in, but decided against. YHC woke the pax in the pitch black cabin, dropped some weight, and headed out in the dark forest.

With only one flashlight among the three of us to overcome rocks and roots, we head over to the Morris Center, after losing our way in the forest several times, then jog around the lake. We stopped for a little warm up: Wind mills, Imperial walkers, Merkins, mountain climbers, low plank hold, Sir Fazio arm circles.

Mosey on down path, stopping at the picnic table for several rounds of dips and Irkins. And further down the path with stop for CDDs and heel touches.

The sun is starting to come out, continue down the path to the shelter and complete full Cindy: 5 rounds of 5 pull-ups, 10 Merkins, 15 squats.

Continue on for more dips and Irkins at picnic table.

Head back to Morris Center stopping for Mary on the way. LBCs, box cutters, and hammers.

Lots of fellowship on the return, learning much about each other and our FNG, an avid elk and deer hunter. Braveheart and YHC decide on “M24” by the time we reach COT.

Lots of praise and shout outs on this FUMC Middle School retreat with thanks for the fellowship.
YHC thankful that two young men enthusiastically joined him in gloom.

YHC took us out in prayer.
