As promised on Twitter, YHC wanted the PAX to focus on attention to detail and teamwork today. With mother nature presenting us another muggy day, 9 men arrived at Baileywick Park for the #steamfest.
We were anticipating the arrival of three FNG’s, but when none arrived, we were off to the races.
Warm-up:
Brisk jog up the BWP Trail towards Strickland.
Stop at rock pile for–
The Thang:
10 Burpees OYO
Air Squats, on YHC’s down/up. Now the kicker was we could only move on a command, so with two PAX moving out of turn, we did penalty burpees. #AttentionToDetail
Up to Strickland Rd.
Four PAX did burpee broad jumps S on Strickland (sidwalk).
Five PAX did burpee broad jumps N on Strickland.
Return to start point for flutters and box cutters, IC.
Partner up. Size and speed didn’t matter, as this was just bear crawls and burpees.
P1 bear crawled about 65 yds.
P2 did burpee broad jump in the same direction.
This set was a modified partner chase. The partner who bear crawled all 65 yards sprinted back to start point, then went to “tag” partner out. Partner 2 started bear crawling from their location, to the end point, then sprinted back to start and returned to tag Partner 1. (PS– this sounded a lot better on paper but YHC didn’t do a very good job of explaining– my apologies)
Brisk Indian run back to the grassy patch between baseball fields (~20 yards).
Team Accountability exercise– PAX held balls to wall while one at a time sprinted the length of the grass, and back peddled to return. If PAX fell off wall, 5 penalty burpees were assessed.

#1 – Relay race, straight sprints back and forth. 3 sprints per man, 9 total.
#2 – P1 carries P2 the length and back.
P2 carries P3 the length and back.
P3 carries P1 the length and back.
Repeat x2
Everyone on their belly. On command, sprint there, and get back in prone position. X2
Recover on the jog back to endex.

What a group of STUDS today. Juggernaut is a great park, led by great men, and it’s always a pleasure to Q there. If you haven’t been, I’d challenge you to try it out.
