Yesterday Epoxy called out YHC via Twitter regarding my long-term avoidance of Heavy Metal.  This allowed me to point out his conspicuous absence at our running themed workouts, specifically Hi-Fidelity and Wolf Run.  Unfortunately, Epoxy called my bluff.  When I rolled up in my M’s swagger wagon this morning on Oval Drive, I was greeted by none other than Epoxy and Brown.  No one else appeared from the gloom and, after given some consideration to bagging it and going to Bruegger’s, we headed out.

THE THANG:

We ran.  We did the Centennial Campus loop and probably put in a solid three miles interspersed with:

Warm-up of SSH x 20, Good Mornings x 10, Mountain Climbers x 20, and Windmills x 20

A total of 50 LBCs, 40 squat jumps, 30 merkins, 40 jump lunges, 20 burpees, 10 triceps dips (poorly planned by YHC) along our route.

Six-plus minutes of Mary including American Hammers x 25, alternating oblique crunches x 20, Rosalitas x 20, WWII sit-ups x 20, Freddie Mercurys x 20, several others I’ve forgetten.

COT

T-claps to Brown and Epoxy for braving the cold and the Wolf Run.  They promised to return.

Prayers for Dufresne, who remains at Duke Raleigh.

Convergence on 1/1/14 at 7:00 a.m. at Fletcher Park, home of Ball Bearings.
