9 brave souls posted to HoP this AM with 2 for EC.  Teo & YHC returned to the AO 1 minute late from EC likely due to increased mumble chatter.  If you have not been out for an EC at HoP you are missing out.  After much complaining and fear of frostbite after last week YHC hoped to avoid the iron railroad ties for the beatdown so a plee was made for extra rucks.  T-Claps Bushwood.

The Ruck beatdown

3 teams of 3 for a Usain Bolt-ish relay.

1st man sprints with ruck to 1st island, 5 air squats, sprits to 2nd island 10 merkins, sprint to the end of the parking lot and back.

While 1st man sprints with rucks all team mates not running complete a series of exercises while they wait their turn for the ruck.  When 1st man finishes, he passed the ruck to man #2 followed by man #3.  These exercises included in no particular order as YHC cannot remember; SSH, air squats, Carolina dry docks, WWI, burpees, monkey humpers, LBCs.

It is not a race until at the end the last place team has to do more burpees than the other 2…  Then it becomes a race

**repeato x3 total with island exercises increases; 5 air squats & 10 merkins, 10 & 20, 15 & 30.

Next up as a 3 man team complete 300 air squats and 100 ruck thrusters.

Of relevant notes: Funny Money edged out YHC in a bring it home sprint during one of the relay sprints.  No therapy for the ears this morning as the speakers shutdown at 16 degrees and don’t work.  Unlike the typical day at HoP when no music is met with much grumbling and complaining I don’t think the pax had the energy to spare after first round of ruck sprints.  As we began our flutter kicks a transformer in the distance exploded and the gloom got more gloomy with even less light.  I guess lots of things were not designed to work in 16 degrees.  Here’s to the Snow Bull Saturday!
