Today was evidence that, regardless of the weather, someone will always post at Wolf Run.  Two someones, in fact.  Yep, YHC pulled up to find T-Square enjoying some last minute warmth in his Land Cruiser.  Putting a stop to that, YHC pulled on the balaclava (two days in a row; don’t knock it until you try it) and we headed into the teeth of the wind.

THE Thang:

Jog to the parking deck for warm up:

  • SSH x 25
  • IW x 20
  • Mountain Climbers x 20
  • Good mornings x 20

Continuing our quest to avoid the wind chill factor, we did the following in the deck:

  • Sprint up the ramp
  • 20 prisoner squats and 20 standard merkins
  • Jog the flat section of the deck
  • Sprint up the next ramp
  • 20 alternating lunges and 20 star jumps OYO
  • Jog the flat section of the deck
  • Sprint up the third ramp
  • 10 BOYO
  • 10 parking garage pull ups

We then left the “warmth” of the deck in order to put the run in Wolf Run.  We ran the Varsity Drive loop off campus to Western Boulevard and then back to the friendly confines.

T-Square took the Q for Mary and we did:

  • 40 bear hug crunches
  • 20 bridge steps (?) with the right leg
  • 20 bridge steps with the left leg
  • 20 cannonballs
  • High, slow flutter for a 30 count
  • 25 hammers, choose your country of origin

As the Bible says, “where two or three are gathered together….”

Abu Nazir was scheduled to lead us today but is recovering from injury.  Allegedly.  We suspect possible Homeland Security involvement but, given the reach of the NSA, I won’t say any more.
