Denali has turned over the reins of The Judge to me to add to the repertoire of Raleigh’s (supposedly or allegedly) toughest workout. This is the “fun” that we have in store.
Fast mosey (longish route) to the Crumpled Hanky Track ([insert official name here]) for the inaugural running of the Lee 500 in Raleigh. At start/finish line (on the triangle of grass near the last “Oak Ring”/[insert official name here]), execute:
- 20 Peter Parker Push Ups**
- 20 Baryshnikovs** (10 each leg…#godawful)
- 20 Makhtar N’Diayes**
- 20 flutters (double count…so 20 each leg)
- 20 x-fit/hand-release burpees
**Demonstrations to be provided as needed.
After completing the 100 reps, run loop around the track (running counterclockwise). Complete AMRAP until 6:12. Goal is to get at least 5 rounds in (hence, Lee 500), but let’s see if we can make it a 600 (possible) or 700 (probably not).
Run short route (by the Oak Rings) back to the parking lot.
This is guaranteed to be #terrible … or Denali will give you your money back. Hope to see you in the Raleigh Gloom tomorrow.
