23 PAX for Side Effects’ VQ began with a mosey up to the top parking lot for 20 SSH, 10 GM, 10 IW, and 10 MC to warmup.  The maiden voyage continued with a jog down to the tennis courts.

Bear crawl court 1, 5 Mtn Climbers.  BC court 2, 10 burpees, BC court 3, 15 merkens, BC court 4, 20 air squats, BC court 5, 25 LBCs, BC court 6, recover.  Reverse it!  Crawl Bear court 6, 25 LBCs, CB court 5, 20 air squats…you get the picture.

Recovery suicides, sprint to court 2 and back, court 4 and back, court 6 and back.  With the PAX gasping for breath (except for Spooky and Subprime, of course), Prancing Horse galloped in and took the reins.  Recovery jog to grass field beside volleyball courts.

Partner up, 60m wheelbarrow to treeline (All PAX excited, except Champ, who realized he would be holding Blindside’s legs…).  Switch, and wheelbarrow back.  Walking lunge, slow and low, back to treeline, quick plank shoulder taps before moseying to “the hill”.

PH: “we’re doing traveling burpees to the yellow gate.”  Lo Pair:  “No we’re not”.  Exercise.  Before Blindside could rip PH’s head off, PAX sprint to top of hill, 20 overhand rows on handrail, 20 underhand rows on handrail (where’s our pullup bar, SP???).  Recovery jog to top of parking lot for merry.  20 WWII, 15 LBC, 15 LSF.
