Les Nessman and YHC had the honor of Q’ing today on this reunion of 39 months.  24 pax showed for a tough one.  All finished strong.  YHC started us off with an intro (with mission statement) and no FNG’s (we thought).

Warm Up:  SSH x 39, Merkins oyo x 39

THE THANG

Off to the field for BMW 3 series.  This modification of Floppy’s “grinder” is a set of 13’s with 3 exercises on each side.  Burpees, Monkey Humpers, and WW2 – start with 1, then run to far side and do 12 of each…repeato.  The field was very wet and it was a sweaty mess, but the pax were strong.  Got about half way through this and Les was up.

Prayer squats x 20, and off to the parking lot.

Partner up – partner 1 does BTW, partner 2 runs a lap around parking lot.  3 times each.  Off to the field.

Line up for merkins x 10, monkey humpers x 10, lbc’s x 10.  Run to the light and back.  Repeat two more times.

Line up for wide grip merkins x 10, sumo squats x 10, Freddy Mercury x 10.  Run to the light backwards and back.  Then two more times.

Indian run around the field (Pygmy had the fastest time) and to the parking lot.

It has truly been a blast to see this AO develop from its humble beginnings 3 years ago.  Les and YHC had NO experience leading and just wanted to start a workout to relieve Flood Zone and have a site closer to home.  God has blessed me tremendously through this site and the pax who show up each week.  It’s a blessing to be a part of this group.  Thank you all.
