As middle school detention is typically dark, gloomy, with storms (at least from my parents) on the horizon so was our workout.  West Millbrook Middle brings back fond memories, some gloomy ones and don’t get me started with my time in detention.  So, a bit of a throwback was in order for the 11 brave PAX.
  • Mosey to the track via Six Forks.
  • Warm-up (Good Morning, Imperial Walker, Mountain Climber, and Plank series.
 The Thang
  • Partner chase around the track (1st Lap – 10 Mercans; 2nd Lap – Monkey Humpers)
  • Mosey to the upper parking lot via Six Forks.
  • 100-200-300 – Off partner ran down stairs x2, 10 dips on planter x2, flipflop.  (100 Alpine Skiers, 200 Sumo Squats, 300 LBC’s)
  • Mosey to the gym courtyard.
  • Wall-Ball !   Old school Wall-Ball for all.  Middle school rules apply.  2 teams.  As an incentive to stay in the game Burpee’s for the losers until the game was complete.  Aflac and CDC were the winners.  Good time had by all.
  • Mosey to rock pound.
  • 2 Rock Sets:  Curls x 15, Tri-Ext x 15, Squat Press x 15, and Rows x 15
  • Mosey to bench.
  • 1 Set:  Alt L/R Step-up x 25
  • Mosey to parking.
  • Mary (Low Slow Flutter x 20, Box cutters x 20, Homeward to Marge x 20, and American Hammer x 20)
Thought of the Day:  You are something to someone.  Try to live out each day, even the small stuff, as Christ did.  You never know when you are making an impact on others.
