COT:
– Nameorama (this takes a little longer with 33, where I come from 12 is a crowd for us)
– GET OUT AND Q. Sites need PAX to step up and out and take a Q. YHC would appreciate it as well.
– The Mule and Bull in March, MUDRUN in April.
– YHC had some words to share but for the sake of time I condensed to a minute or less:
Recently read Darkhelmet’s moleskin from the 5 yr. anniversary convergence at Metro from the new year. In that he mentioned that for 45-60 minutes of our day, “It’s because for that one hour, I believe, we are about as free as we can be in our modern, over-technologized, overcommitted, over-everythinged lives. We’re free from roles that weigh us down, free from the constraints that life and the world put on us… We’re just free to BE.”
YHC challenged PAX that just as we are ‘free’ to POST, let’s ‘free’ ourselves in the same fashion and devote that time to our M and 2.0’s. Give them your time, effort, commitment just as you do F3. As we as brother’s sharpen one another, let us sharpen those close to us as well. AYE!!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Continued prayers for Orwell and his family. Reach out with a call/text/email if you have his info.
PAX (sorry brother cannot recall your name) took us out strong.
MOLESKIN:
End of 2015 Ollie came out to Q at Excalibur for the Knightdale crew. He and I were chatting about stretching ourselves by checking out other AO’s and Q’ing outside our home regions. I mentioned to him I’d been posting at UJ for a few months now and wondered if I could Q a group this size. Keep in mind, the North-East Wake sites if we pull 12-14 that’s a crowd for us. Ollie basically gave me a ‘hell yeah you can.’ So I stretched myself and signed up to Q at UJ. I won’t lie and say I was not a little intimidated. Especially seeing the headlight after headlight pulling in this AM. But I have a saying “The Lord brought me to it, He’ll see me through it” And HE did indeed. I had a blast this morning fellas and hope yall did as well! So step up and step out gents and sign up to Q. Take the warmup, run a couple sets of a THANG, but just do it! Believe me, if this former fat guy can do it, anyone can. It was an honor and pleasure circling up with you gentlemen today, thanks for the opportunity to lead and grow, AYE!
